About This Work
There Is No God but Allah, Muhammad Is the Messenger of Allah
This artwork presents the Shahadah, the central declaration of Islamic faith:
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ
Translation:
“There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”
Rendered in a bold Jali Thuluth composition, the words are arranged through strong ascending strokes, sweeping curves and carefully interwoven letterforms. The repeated vertical lines create a sense of strength and elevation, while the softer, flowing forms bring balance and rhythm to the composition. Written in deep black ink against a naturally textured background, the artwork preserves the character and warmth of traditional hand-executed calligraphy.
