1. Who we are (ECTA s43 disclosures)
This store is operated by:
- Legal / trading name: [LEGAL_NAME], trading as Jamaal Prints
- Registration number: [REG_NUMBER if registered]
- Physical address: [BUSINESS_ADDRESS], South Africa
- Email: support@jamaalprints.store
- Phone: [PHONE]
- Website: https://jamaalprints.store
These disclosures are made under section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”).
2. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout via the methods shown there (processed by Shopify Payments / our payment gateway).
If a price is displayed in obvious error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full before dispatch; we will contact you first where reasonably possible.
3. Made on demand
Every print is produced after you order it. Orders enter production after the 24-hour cancellation window described in our Refund & Returns Policy, which also sets out your 7-day cooling-off right under ECTA s44 and your CPA warranty rights.
4. Intellectual property
All artwork, calligraphy compositions, restored images, photography and text on this site remain the property of Jamaal Prints. Buying a print gives you ownership of that physical copy only — it grants no right to reproduce, scan, resell as reproductions, or commercially exploit the artwork in any form.
5. Liability
To the extent the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this site or delays outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right, warranty or remedy the CPA or ECTA gives you, including the section 55–56 quality warranty.
6. Law, disputes and recourse
These terms are governed by South African law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts. You also have the right to refer a dispute to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission (thencc.org.za).
7. Contact
