Refund & Returns Policy

Every Jamaal Prints piece is printed on demand — your print is produced after you order it. This policy explains your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”). Nothing in it limits any right those Acts give you.

1. Cancellation before production — first 24 hours

You may cancel your order free of charge within 24 hours of purchase, before production begins, for a full refund. Email support@jamaalprints.store with your order number. Because prints are made on demand, production starts shortly after this window — if you change your mind, the sooner you write, the simpler it is.

2. 7-day cooling-off right (ECTA s44)

Under section 44 of ECTA you may return a print within 7 days of delivery, without giving any reason. Conditions:

• the print must be returned undamaged and in its original packaging;
• you pay the direct cost of return shipping (as ECTA permits);
• we refund the full purchase price within 30 days of your cancellation.

3. Defective or misdescribed prints (CPA ss 55–56)

Every print carries the CPA’s 6-month implied warranty of quality. If a print is defective, or materially different from its description, you may choose — at your election — a repair, a replacement, or a refund. This right cannot be excluded or limited, and it is in addition to the cooling-off right above.

4. Damaged in transit

If your print arrives damaged, email support@jamaalprints.store within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the print and the packaging. We will send a replacement at no cost to you.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method, in ZAR. We process them as soon as the returned print reaches us (or immediately, for pre-production cancellations and transit damage), and in all cases within 30 days.
